Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about our non-medical recovery support after surgery or hospitalization.
Getting Started
We provide non-medical recovery support after surgery. Your care partner can help with transportation, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and care coordination. We handle daily logistics so you can focus on healing.
Home health care provides medical services such as nursing, wound care, and therapy, but it requires a doctor referral and visits are limited scheduled appointments — not day-long support. Home health providers are not there all day or for the full duration of your recovery. We provide non-medical daily support including transportation, meals, companionship, errands, and home setup throughout your recovery. Many clients use both services together.
We recommend contacting us 2-4 weeks before surgery when possible. This gives us time to complete your consultation and build your plan. If your timeline is shorter, reach out and we will do our best to help.
We serve Scottsdale and nearby communities in the greater Phoenix area. If you are unsure whether we cover your address, contact us and we will confirm.
Services & Packages
Our packages run 7, 14, or 21 days with different levels of support. All packages include hospital pickup, daily check-ins, medication reminders, and 24/7 phone support. Higher-tier packages add services such as companionship, follow-up transportation, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Yes. Our packages are starting points, and your plan is tailored to your surgery, timeline, living situation, and preferences.
We support recovery for many procedures, including joint replacement, cardiac, abdominal, orthopedic, eye, dental, and plastic surgery. If your procedure will limit mobility or daily tasks, we can usually help.
Yes. While many of our clients are recovering from a planned surgery, we also support patients coming home after an unexpected hospitalization — a cardiac event, a serious illness, or a fall. The need for support during those first days home is the same either way.
Our Care Partners
Our care partners are selected for experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related support roles. Every care partner is verified through APS registry checks, fingerprinted through the Arizona Level 1 clearance process, and undergoes a thorough background screening. Our team is fully insured and bonded.
All Post Care Partners are verified through APS (Adult Protective Services) registry checks, fingerprinted through the Arizona Level 1 clearance process, and undergo a thorough background screening. Our team is also fully insured and bonded. We take these steps so you can feel confident about who is in your home during recovery.
We assign a primary care partner whenever possible so your support stays consistent throughout recovery.
Cost & Insurance
Our services are private-pay and are not covered by traditional health insurance or Medicare. We can provide documentation if you want to request possible HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) reimbursement.
Pricing depends on your package and support level. We provide clear pricing during your free consultation, with no hidden fees.
Logistics
Your care partner picks you up from the hospital or surgical center, helps you settle in at home, reviews your discharge instructions, and confirms your next appointments.
